Wear a small piece of history with this Irish Crochet Lace pendant necklace.
The handmade lace dates between the second half of the 19th century to the beginning of 20th century and was never used.
Design is set into a pewter pendant plated with sterling silver; it features tiny leaves and flower buds, overlaying hand dyed silk charmeuse in amethyst purple.
Pendant is about the size of an American nickel and hangs from a brass beaded chain, plated in 24 karat gold. Back of pendant is engraved with a floral design.

Treat your jewelry with care and it will be enjoyed for many years to come. Do not sleep or shower with your item and keep it out of the rain. When not wearing it, store it in a small cloth or sealed plastic bag inside your jewelry box. Using a polishing cloth for your pewter jewelry is not recommended, as it will dull the 24 karat gold or sterling silver plating. The solid gold and silver pieces may be polished.
